Plastic or beaded glass?
The 13" Plastic Charger is light, quick to set, and comes in silver or gold — at $1.50 each it puts a frame under 150 seats without moving the budget. The 13" Beaded Glass Charger at $6.00 is for the table where the charger is the jewelry: a beaded rim in gold or silver, or Belmont clear gold, which lets your linen color show through the glass. Gold beaded chargers pair with Gold Band china and Brushed Gold flatware. Silver goes with Platinum Band or Silver Band china — Silver Band is quoted per order — and Needlepoint or Hammered flatware. Belmont clear gold is the one to put on a strong linen color: fuchsia, emerald, navy, or a champagne crinkle.
How many to order
One per seat, and count seats, not guests. Chargers leave the table with the first course, so they need less cushion than plates — a spare stack of a handful covers the head table and late additions. Chargers belong at a plated or family-style dinner. For a buffet, skip them; count dinner plates at the buffet rather than at seats and put the money into a dessert plate instead. On a 60" round seating ten, thirteen-inch chargers make a full table, so if you are also setting bread plates and three glasses, seat eight and give every place room to breathe. Building the setting
From the bottom up: charger, 10.75" dinner plate, 8.25" salad plate, napkin. China plates are $0.70 each and a 20" x 20" napkin is $0.65 on the 2026 price list, so a full plate stack on a beaded charger runs $8.05 before glassware and flatware. Fold the napkin tall on the salad plate or tuck the menu card under it. Then the glasses — a water goblet at every place, wine glasses only if wine is poured at the table. Delivery, return and rinsing
Delivery runs Monday through Friday 9am–4pm and Saturday 9am–noon, quoted by distance and order size before you book; standard delivery is first floor, no stairs, within 50 feet of the truck. Will-call pickup at 174 Collins Street, Suite 104 in Midtown runs Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, and rates are based on one-day or weekend use. Chargers come back the way the china does: rinsed free of food and packed in their crates — full washing is not required, but excessively dirty dish and tableware returns are assessed cleaning charges of up to 100% of the rental rate. If rinsing will not be possible at your venue, make arrangements with us in advance. A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves the order, and counts can change up to one week before your date.
